Cruise Description

Discover the  authentic Provence combining style and refinement. Throughout this cruise, you will be able to admire the beautiful Rhone landscapes. Discover Les Baux de Provence, one of the most beautiful, majestic and exotic villages in France, and plunge into the heart of an extraordinary setting whose charm and fragrance will captivate you. Visit the Alpilles where nature and authentic traditions have been carefully preserved.

Day 1
Passengers are welcome to board our ship at 3:00 p.m. We'll spend the afternoon cruising. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we'll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail. Dinner tonight will be following by an evening of entertainment. Our ship will cruise through the night.

Day 2
This morning will be spent cruising to Avignon.Join us for the optional excursions proposed:CLASSIC: Guided tour of Avignon and the Papal Palace.FAMILY: Tour the Papal Palace with a HistoPad®. You'll leave the ship on foot with your guide for the Papal Palace. Kids will love plunging into history through spectacular historical reenactments using the interactive HistoPad® tablet. Developed by a committee of researchers, the HistoPad® provides a fun-filled, interactive experience for younger visitors. (Optional excursion for kids and teens from 8 to 16 years old.)Return on board for dinner. Our ship will begin to cruise to Arles, reaching it in the evening. After dinner, join us for an optional CLASSIC excursion: A guided tour of Arles, bursting with Provençal culture and Roman ruins.

Day 3
This morning, the CLASSIC/FAMILY optional excursion is: Discovering the Camargue.The afternoon will be spent cruising to Martigues. Enjoy some free time exploring the city on your own before we set off once again for Arles.

Day 4
Join us for the optional excursion for both packages: Discover the Baux-de-Provence.This afternoon will be spent cruising to Viviers.

Day 5
This morning will be spent cruising to La Voulte. Join us for the optional excursions proposed:CLASSIC: Discover the Vercors and taste the famous Clairette de Die*.FAMILY: A Chocolate Adventure in Tain l'Hermitage. You'll leave by coach with your host/hostess for Tain-l'Hermitage to indulge in the Cité du Chocolat. Learn what makes chocolate a universal delicacy through an interactive and multisensory experience. Big and small alike will love this delicious encounter with our favorite sweet from the bean to its almost-endless possibilities. Wake up your senses with a taste-bud celebration! Then set out on an amusing tour of Tain-l'Hermitage.After our tour, we'll return on board the ship in Tain-l'Hermitage. Enjoy our festive gala evening while the ship cruises to Lyon.

Day 6
Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. End of our services.
