In less than a week, this summer Bank Holiday sailing will present you with Norway’s fjordland scenery, Viking history and fascinating myths and legends. Incredible experiences await you ashore during visits to two fjordland villages and a city. You can hike to the Briksdal Glacier with a local geologist; visit the islands of Giske – the birthplace of Viking Chief Rollo – and Godøy; and unearth troll folklore on a tour to Trollveggan and Trollstigen. Your time at sea is set to be equally as rewarding with Balmoral set to sail the picturesque Nordfjord and make a special diversion to cruise the Langfjord and Eresfjord – only possible on smaller ships – flanked by verdant valleys and towering peaks.
