Stretching along the eastern seaboard of Nova Scotia, Lunenburg is recognised by UNESCO as the best surviving example of a planned British colonial settlement in North America. Admire the brightly coloured wooden houses, dating back to the 18th century, in this charming fishing port.

Bar Harbor is a coastal paradise, with its New England charm, mountain top views and overflow of natural beauty. Bar Harbor has a way of making you slow down, appreciate nature and those you are with as you admire the changing beauty, from glistening sunshine to thick fog. Known as the gateway to Acadia National Park it is famed for outdoor adventure.

Freechoice: Explore the cliffs, rocky coves, glacier-carved lakes, and dense forests of Acadia National Park, or discover the historic district of Bar Harbor, from Cadillac Mountain, Sieur de Monts Springs and the communities of Seal Harbor and Northeast Harbor, before finishing at an authentic Lobster Pound for lunch. At this time of year, the east coast’s famous fall foliage is everywhere, so it will be impossible to miss the brilliant red, orange and yellow trees.

Freechoice: Explore Portland’s working waterfront on foot through the streets of this charming area and enjoy a progressive lunch from dine-in and to go restaurants, pubs, markets and artisanal shops, or learn to paint while taking in Maine's natural beauty with a painting class for all levels. Alternatively, explore the city highlights with a visit to historic Portland Head Light and the charming seaside town of Kennebunkport, or discover the lighthouses of the South Portland Greenbelt Pathway by bicycle on a guided tour.

Step foot in one of the oldest cities in the United States, founded in 1630 and steeped in history and culture. Boston is known as one of the most walkable cities in America, and one of the easiest to explore. While it is an intimate city, its cultural diversity makes it feel much larger. Boston has something for everyone.

Revel in the history of Fenway Park, one of baseball’s most beloved stadiums and home to the Red Sox. Admire the opulent summer residences along cliff-top Bellevue Ave and the preserved Colonial-era architecture and landmarks at seemingly every turn.

Freechoice: Enjoy a walk on the stunning Cliff Walk followed by a visit to one of Newport’s grandest mansions, The Breakers, and take in the sights of the Gilded Age mansions that dot the waterfront, or climb aboard an America’s Cup sailing yacht for a thrilling sailing experience.
