Svirstroy, Russia

Svirstroy is located on the Svir River approximately 150 miles east of St. Petersburg. It is a small village and port of call on Russian Waterways cruises between St. Petersburg and Moscow.

Visitors to Svirstroy can take a walk through the village and meet residents who offer tea and “pirozhkies”. There are also small wooden shops selling a variety of Russian handicrafts and artwork.
