Veere, Netherlands

Veere is a municipality and a city in the southwestern Netherlands, on Walcheren island in the province of Zeeland. It is a beautiful village on the edge of the inland lagoon Veerse Meer.

The village boasts lovely old buildings and cobbled streets. On one side of the village is a boat filled canal connecting Veerse Meer and along which the village lies.
