Uglich is a historic town in Yaroslavl Oblast, Russia, which stands on the Volga River. It is known for its delicious cheeses and dairy products and for its watchmakers.
The church of Dmitry is one of the landmarks of the town. A team of restorers has been working on the town’s historical center since 1952. Uglich’s historical center is under permanent conservation.
