Dordrecht is a city and municipality in the western Netherlands, located in the province of South Holland. It is the fourth largest city of the province. It is the oldest city in Holland and has a rich history and culture.

Because of its long and important role in Dutch history, Dordrecht has a rich culture. The medieval city centre is home to over 950 monuments. The city also houses 7 churches and 6 museums in a relatively small area and hosts many festivals and events every year.

Port Lcoation – The port at Dordrecht is located on the south bank of the Oude Maas river at its junction with the Merwede, Noord and Dordtse Kil rivers.

Transport Links – Direct rail service from Rotterdam Centraal and Rotterdam Blaak takes about 15 minutes. there is direct service from Amsterdam Centraal via Den Haag and Rotterdam Centraal with the terminus in Dordrecht. There is a fast ferry (waterbus) from Rotterdam. Its part of the public trans system and costs the same as the train.
