  2. Wroclaw situated on the River Oder is the largest city in southwestern Poland. It is located in the historic region of Silesia and boasts fascinating architecture and many rivers, bridges and islands.

    Attractions in Wroclaw include Wroclaw’s Ostrów Tumski, where one of the most beautiful sacral architecture buildings in Europe has been preserved. Wroclaw Town hall is considered one of the most splendid Gothic buildings in central Europe. Visitors can also see the biggest baroque interior in Poland, which has remained until today - the Leopoldine Hall, located in the 17th century University building.

    Wrocław is a major hub in the Polish rail network, with several trains a day to all large Polish cities. There are about 10 daily departures to Warsaw as well as quite a lot of trains to Poznań (from there you can go to Warsaw or Berlin). Several trains a day go to Kraków. There are also international trains to Hamburg (via Berlin), Prague, Dresden, Kiev (via Lviv) and Budapest.

    National and international buses are available to and from Wroclaw.
