Echuca is a town located on the banks of the Murray River and Campaspe river in Victoria, Australia. The Border town Moama is on the northern side of the Murray river in New South Wales.
Echuca offers a rich colonial history and a large fleet of paddle steamers. There are plenty of modern and historic local attractions, opportunities for bird watching, viewing wildlife, fishing and walking. You can also use Echuca-Moama as your base to explore nearby towns, magnificent red gum forests, wetlands and fauna parks.

Travel Links - Trains and buses arrive at Echuca Railway Station about 5 times a weekday and about the same on weekends. Most services come from Bendigo Rail/Bus Staion, but they also come from Shepparton as well.
Echuca Airport is also located outside the town.
