Naviera y Tuismo Skorpios S.A is a family corporation founded by Constantino Kochifas Carcamo, a shipbuilder and well-known entrepreneur from the South of Chile, who together with his family has developed this tourist activity and with intelligence and professionalism has turned it into a tourist product of national and international renown.

The company today has one of the largest shipping fleets in the southern cone, with 3 tourist vessels plus 28 cargo ships; a shipyard and naval machine shop; passenger and cargo loading terminals; hot springs in Fiode de Quitralco; offices in Santiago, Puerto Montt, Punta Arenas and Puerto Natales. A comprehensive infrastructure for a self sufficient company that operates with a workplace of more than 500 employees and is the leader of Chilean tourist activities in Patagonia.

Clothing onboard is informal and casual, however a suit or dress for the farewell dinner is required.

Tipping Policy

Tips are not included in the ticket fare. Those passengers who wish to express their gratitude in this way should give the tip to the Captain in a sealed envelope. The Captain will, according to
the Skorpios tradition, share it amongst the members of the crew. We suggest U$ 50 per passenger.
