  1. Port Overview

  1. Ko Samui, Thailand

  2. Ko Samui is an island off the east coast of the Kra Isthmus in Thailand, close to the mainland Surat Thani town. It is Thailand's third largest island, rich with natural resources, white sandy beaches, coral reefs and coconut trees.

Ko Samui is all in all a fairly big island. The most popular and commercial beaches are Chaweng and Lamai, while the northern beaches and their adjacent villages of Mae Nam, Bophut, Bang Rak (Big Buddha) and Choeng Mon are more peaceful choices, and the west coast beaches are still (comparatively) quiet.
