Zingst is a municipality in the Nordvorpommern district, in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. It is located on the peninsula of Zingst between the cities of Rostock and Stralsund. It is bordered by the Baltic Sea in the North and by the "Barther Bodden" waters in the South.
Zingst is a state-approved seaside health resort surrounded by meadows and heathland and lies near wooded areas. A wide range of treatments are on offer at the beauty and wellness studio in the spa centre's treatment facilities.
Other attractions include the Zingst harbour from where you can take trips to the town of Barth, the island of Hiddensee, round trips to Bodden National Park or go crane-watching at their migration stopovers.
