Esbjerg, Denmark
Esbjerg is a municipality in Region Syddanmark ("South Denmark Region") on the west coast of the Jutland peninsula in southwest Denmark. It is the fifth largest city in Denmark and is located in the middle of Denmark's loveliest holiday area.
There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and bars to visit. Attractions in Esbjerg include the musical centre "Musikhuset", which is Esbjerg's Performing Arts Centre, a wide range of museums and the internationally renowned Fisheries and Maritime Museum. The harbour is the cradle of the city and Esbjerg's gateway to the west. The harbour is also the base of the Danish offshore oil and gas industry.
Close to Esbjerg you will find vast expanses of beaches, nature experiences, amusement parks and medieval towns. In fact, Denmark's oldest town Ribe is situated only 30 km from Esbjerg.

Port Location – The port of Esbjerg is located approximately 1.5 km’s from the city centre.
Transport Links – Esbjerg Airport is located in the eastern part of the city, with local bus connections. There are flight connections to London (Stanstead Airport), Aberdeen and Stavanger-Bergen, Norway.
Billund Airport is western Denmark's biggest and more well connected. It is conveniently located about an hour's drive from Esbjerg. The low-fare airline Ryan Air serves Esbjerg with flights from London Stansted Airport.
Ferry services connect the Esbjerg via Ho Bay to Nordby on the island of Fanø via Scandlines, and over the North Sea to Harwich, England via DFDS Seaways.
Esbjerg railway station is operated by Danish State Railways. Esbjerg is the western terminus of InterCity trains from Copenhagen (operating every other hour), with the journey taking about three hours. DSB also operates local trains to Fredericia. Arriva operates Vestbanen local trains south to Ribe and Tønder and north to Struer.
