Transport Links - Waterford airport is 6km south of the City. There are Aer Arann have daily flights to London and weekly flights to Birmingham and Manchester. There are also summer time flights to Lorient (Brittany). Waterford is also ideally located between Dublin and Cork and therefore has access to both airports for long distance flights. The nearest ferrypoint to Dunmore East and Waterford is in Rosslare. From Rosslare you can access Fishguard and Pembroke in Wales. Plunkett Railway Station is the main train station in Waterford.
