Brandenburg is a city in Meade County, Kentucky, United States, along the Ohio River. It is located 46 miles southwest of Louisville, Kentucky; 147 miles southwest of Cincinnati, Ohio; and 162 miles north of Nashville, Tennessee. Meade County covers a land area of 308 square miles. The Ohio River forms the entire northern border of the county.
One Brandenburg’s main attractions is Ohio Riverfront Park and the various yearly activities which are held there, such as the Summer Concert Series, and the annual Christmas by the River Drive Thru. Brandenburg is also home of the award-winning Meade County Fair and "Christmas by the River Festival". There are also picnic areas, an amphitheater, a walking trail, and soccer fields which are all free to the public.
