Jasper is a town in Jasper National Park in the Alberta Rockies region of Alberta, Canada. It is located 362 kilometers (225 mi) west of Edmonton and 290 kilometers (180 mi) north of Banff, Alberta, with the Icefields Parkway connecting the Jasper townsite to Lake Louise in Banff National Park.
Jasper offers a more peaceful experience than busy Banff. The major tourist destinations including Maligne Lake, The Columbia Icefields and Miette Hot Springs.
