Skjolden is a village in the municipality of Luster in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. It is situated at the inner end of the worlds longest fjord the Sognefjord, surrounded by precipitous hills with spectacular falls, with the Jotunheimen, Breheimen and the Jostedal Glacier nearby.
The place is a popular tourist destination, not only because of the unique nature surroundings, but also because of the many attractions and activities in the Skjolden area. These include the Jostedalsbreen and Jotuneheimen National Parks, the Sognefjell mountain road and Feigumfossen waterfall.
