Bushire, Iran
Bushire is the capital city of Bushehr Province, Iran. It lies 1,218 km’s south of Tehran, in a vast plain running along the coastal region on the Persian Gulf coast. Its port is an important trade and commerce point in Iran. There was a human settlement located here in 2000BC, called ‘Rey Shahr’.
Bushire is known for it handicrafts such as carpets, felt, mats, baskets etc. This part of the Gulf is rich in natural splendour, and you can go in search of wildlife in the surrounding hills and mountains.
