Kish is a 91.5-square-kilometre (35.3 sq mi) resort island in the Persian Gulf. It is part of the Hormozgān Province of Iran. Due to its free trade zone status it is touted as a consumer's paradise, with numerous malls, shopping centres, tourist attractions, and resort hotels.
Kish Island, often called the Pearl of the Persian Gulf has an area of 90 square km (36 sq. miles). It is known for being a beautiful resort in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf. There are many attractions around the island such as the wreck of the Greek Ship stranded near its shores, the ‘Underground City’ and of course its beautiful beaches. It is also one of the best snorkeling sites in the world - its coral-edged lagoons are home to many of the world's spieces of reef fish.
