Malmö is Sweden's third-largest city and the commercial centre of southern Sweden. The 16 kilometre Öresund bridge and tunnel link to Denmark makes it a popular tourist destination. It has a reputation for being one of Sweden’s most cosmopolitan cities as well as a destination for fine food.
Most of Malmö’s main attractions are located in the Old Town (Gamla Staden), which is encircled by canals. These include the Big Square, city hall, Hedmanska Garden, St Petri Kyrka church and Ebbas Hus on Snapperupsgatan, the smallest house in Malmö.
