San Pedro is a town on the southern part of the island of Ambergris Caye in the Belize District of Belize, in Central America. The town is a picturesque with small colorfully painted houses and shops, clear turquoise sea, coconut palms and tropical flora.
San Pedro is an excellent destination for fishermen, divers, snorkelers and sailors. Gift shops, boutiques, bars, cafes, and restaurants adorn Front And Middle streets (now named Barrier Reef Drive/Pescador Drive). San Pedro also makes a fine base for excursions to nearby attractions and the more distant islands and atolls.
