Coxen Hole, Honduras
Coxen Hole, also called Roatan Town, is the largest city on the island of Roatán, and the capital of the Bay Islands department of Honduras. Roatan offers many interesting things to do. There are plenty of scuba dive operators, and its beaches are great for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing. Renting a car, motorcycle, or moped can provide you with the means to explore all the hidden places on the island.
West End on Roatan is definitely the most fun town on the island. There are bars, restaurants, live music, right on the Caribbean. This is also where the best sunsets are, with maybe the exception of West Bay. The reef is a short swim away for excellent snorkeling, especially around the southern point of Half Moon Bay.
