Essaouira, Morocco
Essaouira is a city in the western Moroccan economic region of Marrakech-Tensift-Al Haouz, on the Atlantic coast. It is a late 18th century fortified town with its original canons still in place.
Essaouira’s Medina is a UNESCO World Heritage Listed city. It is home to many small arts and crafts businesses. The beach is central to city life. The strong winds here make it perfect for kitesurfing and windsurfing.

Transport Links - There is a small airport some 7–8 km away from the town, which schedules several flights a week to Paris-Orly and daily to Casablanca.
