Puerto Moin is a subport of Puerto Limon. The port is situated on the Atlantic coast of Costa Rica, due east of the capital San Jose. From Puerto Moin, you can embark on an adventure into Tortugero National Park—an extensive system of waterways and natural canals that have earned it the nickname of Costa Rica's Amazon. Green sea turtles are frequently seen here, and a wealth of other bio-diversity exists within this amazing area. Crocodiles, sloths and monkeys also make this part of Costa Rica their home.
This beautiful area can be explored on an aerial tram high in the forest canopy, on board a whitewater raft, threading through the mangrove forests of Tortuguero in a boat or in an off-road vehicle.
