Ships
You've got a foodie in you — everyone does! Awaken and delight yours on a Carnival cruise with delicious main dishes, tempting desserts and general yumminess everywhere you look.
Your Choice Dining: Why should you eat on anyone’s schedule but your own? Munch to the beat of your own clock at the dining room — sit-down dinner service is available daily to early birds at 6 pm and to night owls at 8:15. More of a free bird? Take the Your Time Dining option and come in for dinner when the mood strikes — we’ll seat you and get you feasting in no time. (Just a reminder: casual food options are always available around the clock.)
Special Diets: We don’t all have the luxury of dropping our diets when we go on vacation. If you’ve got an eye on what crosses your plate, we’ve got your back. Carnival’s chefs are specially-trained to prepare food options for a variety of diets — vegetarian, gluten-free, kosher, Indian vegetarian, or food low in carbs, fat, sugar or cholesterol — so you don’t have to let your dietary restrictions restrict you from having a great time. Or from having seconds.
Kids Menus: Our kids’ menus, available at most onboard dining venues, feature foods that are delicious enough — and fun enough — to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. We’ve got all the familiar options they love from home, like spaghetti and meatballs, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, mac-n-cheese, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and — yes mom — fresh fruit and veggies. They should save room for dessert, though, because with sweet stuff like banana splits and chocolate brownies, your young’uns are going to be pretty excited. There’s even 24-hour pizza and ice cream… but these are subject to bed-time, of course.
Included on All Ships:
Dining Room: “Hey, which side does the fork go on?” is a question you’ll never have to ask at a dining room dinner aboard a Carnival cruise… we set the table for you. We also bring to the table a full three courses in an experience that’s filling, but never stuffy — after all, you’re just as likely to catch waiters table-dancing as you are to order dessert. Dessert’s included (along with the rest of your meal, by the way) in your fare. But don’t skip straight to dessert, because the main course is the main attraction — drop in daily and enjoy a rotating menu of delectable favorites like steak, roasted duck, scallops and prime rib.
Lido Restaurant: Featuring a nice variety of casual dining options like Mongolian Wok, Chef's Choice, Salad Bar, Carnival Deli and more, the Lido Restaurant has something — or more likely, at least a few somethings — to satisfy your craving. With plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and food options for everyone, you can enjoy your personal favorites while dining in the company of family and friends. It’s also where you can find our pizza station and soft serve and frozen yogurt… both open 24 hours a day, which ought to be enough for anybody.
The Taste Bar: A voyage to new destinations is the perfect time to try new things… and here’s the perfect place: The Taste Bar. Stop by for a taste of the flavors awaiting you at dining venues across the Carnival fleet. Pick up a complimentary appetizer before dinner for a taste of something different.
Seaday Brunch: Forget what “they” say — the most important meal of the day is brunch. Slumberers can sleep in and still enjoy breakfast favorites, while early-risers get a head-start on lunch. And Seaday Brunch brings everybody’s favorite mid-morning meal to your Carnival cruise, and does it right. You’ll enjoy huevos rancheros, special french toast, loaded mac-n-cheese… and yes, more ways to cook eggs than we even thought was possible. Chow down and fuel up — you’ve got lots of exploring to do, across the ship, for the rest of the day.
Carnival Deli: Looking for a little taste from the old neighborhood? Pile 'em high at the Carnival Deli. Enjoy old time favorites like a hot pastrami on rye, grilled Reuben, or roasted turkey breast on a country roll. Our sandwiches and wraps are always hand-carved and served fresh with cole slaw or relish. Come by, satisfy your craving for a great sandwich and make sure you don’t forget the kosher dill.
Breakfast Grill: If the smell of breakfast cooking doesn’t help open your eyes, our fresh coffee will surely do the trick. Drag yourself out of bed and over to the Lido Restaurant where you’ll enjoy made-to-order omelettes, help yourself to fluffy stacks of pancakes or indulge in some sizzling sausage or bacon for a delicious and energizing way to start the day.
Chef's Choice: Get a taste of the world as the chef throws the spotlight on a variety of dishes from a different country each day. Enjoy shrimp quesadillas and tortilla soup from Mexico, braised beef bordelaise plus potato and leek soup from France, jerk chicken and Jamaican pepper stew from the Caribbean, or Manhattan clam chowder and southern fried chicken from the good ol’ USA. Indulge in the foods that make each place famous… and be sure to make this a delicious daily routine.
Dining Room Breakfast: The dining room is the perfect place to greet the day on any port day… and be rewarded with a delicious first meal of the day. Our chefs will happily whip up something delicious, just the way you like it. Choose from a wide variety of selections like herb-accented scrambled eggs, fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon and awesome sausage — which is actually the only kind — or even fresh fruit and oatmeal. Join us early before you head off to explore the day’s port.
Good Eats: When it comes to eating well for dinner, the name says it all. Good Eats is just the spot to enjoy a casual self-serve dinner aboard. Enjoy New York strip steak, broiled pork chops served with white rice or roasted potato, a carving station and so much more. There's something different on the menu every night, so you can come back and try something new. It's always a good time when you spend dinner time at Good Eats.
Kids Meals for Campers: With so many fun things to do aboard, your kid will surely work up an appetite. Our meals keep your kids fueled up and happy with yummy options for them to enjoy as they chow down with a supervised group of their new friends. They’ll enjoy pizza, cheese quesadillas, grilled cheese sandwiches, fruit, french fries, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, mac-n-cheese and more! They should save room for dessert, because with banana splits and chocolate brownies, your young ones are going to be pretty excited.
Salad Bar: Fresh, tasty, fast and colorful — all the qualities that make the Salad Bar a great place for lunch or dinner. Stock up on your nutrients for the day and top them off with dressings galore at this self-serve veggie-lover’s paradise. Just because it’s good for you doesn’t mean building your own can’t be fun. Mix in some grilled chicken, fresh tuna or stick to the basics with this quick and healthy option.
Sweet Spot: There’s nothing sweeter than a visit to Sweet Spot for our specially-made marble chocolate cheesecake, lemon cream pies, cherry crumble squares and more. There’s always something for everyone, including healthier options like fresh fruit medleys. Save room for dessert — or skip the meal altogether — and make sure you satisfy your sweet tooth with this mix of desserts that really hit the spot.
Swirls: Got room for dessert? Sure you do! Swirls ice cream lets you enjoy the sweeter side of brain freeze with a treat that’ll have you smiling from ear to ear. Choose from chocolate, vanilla or strawberry… or make your own mix swirled as high as you can balance it. Open on Lido deck 24/7, our frozen yogurt and soft-serve ice cream is a great way to beat the heat all day, or the perfect nightcap after a long evening of fun.
24 Hour Room Service: So you're in the mood for some good eats, but you’d rather stay in your comfy, cozy stateroom? Really, who could blame you? Simply pick up the phone and order something from our tasty room service menu. And since you get hungry when you get hungry, room service is available any time of the day (or night) and delivered right to your door. Best of all — and you may not believe this — the food's even included in your fare.

Our Youth Programs are year-round, fleet wide programs that provide daily fun filled and age appropriate activities for children and teenagers between the ages of 2 and 17 years old. In addition, there is supervised ‘free play’ and Night Owls services for those children 11 years and under. Camp Carnival and Camp Ocean are not a ‘Day-Care’. Our Youth Programs have been designed so that families are able to enjoy quality family time together, and yet also have the option of being with peers of their own age.
Age Policy
Carnival’s policy is to group children together according to their age. Our Youth Program age policies are in place so that we can provide participants with age appropriate activities and so they can mingle with other minors of similar age. The age is determined according to the child’s birth date which is provided from documentation received at embarkation.
A child cannot be moved to another age group as it is a strict policy set by Carnival and cannot be deviated from, regardless of the situation, such as moving into a camp of different age range so the child can be with a family member. There are many times that the different age groups are together so that those families with children in separate groups can be accommodated.
Carnival reserves the right to change the groups' age limits and to deny admission to a child for unruly behavior and/or the child's or guardian's violation of a Carnival or Youth Programs policy. Children under 2 years are not allowed to participate in the regular Camp Carnival and Camp Ocean programs. There are no exceptions to this rule.
As legal adults, 18 year olds are not permitted to participate in or use the Club O2 facilities or any other Youth Program facilities. This rule applies to all 18 year olds regardless of situation.
Youth Programs Orientation
The Youth Programs Orientation is held by the Youth Director to give the parents as well as the children/teens a chance to become familiar with the activity based program, policies and procedures. The parents and children/teens also get the opportunity to meet the Youth Staff and Teen Directors in their child’s age group as well as meet perspective friends. The Orientation takes place the first night of the cruise. Time and place is listed in the Carnival Fun Times - ships may vary due to itineraries.
