Stowe, Vermont
Stowe is a four season resort town located in north-central Vermont at the base of Mount Mansfield—Vermont's highest peak. It is home to Stowe Mountain Ski Resort. Most of the activity in Stowe is centered in the historic Village and along the Mountain Road, that extends from the village about 5 miles to the ski area.
Stowe is best known for its excellent skiing. Mount Mansfield is Vermont's highest mountain and is a ski area with terrain suitable for intermediate to expert skiers. It is also known for its extensive hiking and cross-country skiing trails. In addition, Stowe is becoming increasingly popular as a tourist destination for its world-class dining and spa facilities.

Transport Links – Train and bus services are available into Waterbury, only 20 minutes from Stowe. Jet air service into Burlington International airport is only 40 minutes away, while the Stowe-Morrisville airport for smaller craft is 7 miles north of Stowe village. Rental cars and taxis are available in Burlington , Waterbury and in Stowe.
