Fredericia is a medium-sized fortress town which is located in the Fredericia municipality in the eastern part of Jutland, Denmark.
The town is one of Denmark's largest traffic hubs, and location of Denmark's largest shipyard Fredericia Skibsværft A/S. It is also a major barracks, home to the Royal Danish Army's army's Signals Regiment (Telegrafregimentet), which is located at Rye's Barracks
