It is located along the south side of the Norddalsfjorden, about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) southwest of Sylte. The Norddalsfjorden is 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) long. The fjord's mouth sits to the west between Liabygda on the northern shore and mount Skrednakken on the southern.
