Kuntaur is a town located in the Central River Division of Gambia, West Africa. It is located 150km inland and is the last place upriver on the River Gambia to which ocean going vessels can navigate.
The River Gambia National Park is the main attraction of a visit to Kuntaur.It is home to Chimpanzees, Baboons, Monkeys, Warthogs, hippos, and a number of other species. Reptiles and birdlife is also abundant.
