Puerto Corinto is located on the northwest Pacific coast of Nicaragua. It is a small coastal town with untouched beaches and idyllic tropical surroundings. The streets of Corinto are lined with quaint little shops and lovely church buildings.
The completely deserted and breathtaking Isla El Cardon is worth a visit. Locals will be able to take you to this remote little island by boat at a reasonable rate. Other important sights include Chinandega, the Colonial City of Leon and San Jacinto.
